ROLEC has developed aluminium enclosures to suit every requirement. Our standard solutions can be customised precisely to your needs—for example, by adding custom drill holes or by powder coating in any desired RAL colour. Below, you will find an overview of our different aluminium enclosure models.
In the field of aluminium enclosures, ROLEC offers the widest range of diecast aluminium housings available on the market. The lids are securely fastened to the base using stainless steel screws to ensure a perfect seal. Depending on the model, the gasket is made from Forprene or designed as a cord seal made of chloroprene, silicone, or aluminium-coated EMC material. A variety of sizes and protection classes are available to suit different applications.
aluDISC – round aluminium enclosure with design features
Most aluminium enclosures are rectangular—we took a new approach and developed aluDISC, a round design concept. For electronic components, it is even the world’s first round standard aluminium enclosure available on the market.
Mounting domes are integrated into both the base and the lid, making it easy to install internal components. A recessed area in the lid allows the integration of membrane keypads, touch systems, or front plates. Practical features include a lid-retaining hinge and options for wall, machine, or vehicle mounting. For a clean appearance, the screws are hidden beneath decorative covers.

aluCASE – the premium model for demanding applications
The rectangular, patented aluCASE combines elegant design with practical functionality. Its attractive appearance makes it ideal for installation in visible areas of machines or control systems. It can be mounted without removing the lid, saving assembly time. The recessed area in the lid is ideal for the use of membrane keypads, touch screens or printed front plates. All screws are concealed under design covers, including on the optional external hinges.
Depending on your requirements, the enclosure can be supplied with either a TPE moulded gasket or a silicone-free cord gasket (CR). A lid retainer prevents the cover from falling when opened, and the protection rating reaches IP 69K. Optional features include a lockable access mechanism and a transparent lid (depending on size).

aluCLIC – quick-change enclosure
In certain applications, quick replacement of the aluminium enclosure is required. For this purpose, our aluCLIC quick-change enclosure is the ideal solution. Instead of being permanently screwed into place, aluCLIC is securely clicked onto a mounting frame. It can easily be released again using a tool, making it ideal for temporary or recurring measurement tasks. When fitted with plug-in connectors, the device can be quickly removed and reinstalled as needed.
The design offers ample internal space for electronic components. Since the lid is screwed on from the rear, the front surface can be used almost entirely.

aluPLUS – designer enclosure in industry standard sizes
The aluPLUS enclosure is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is compatible with all standard aluminium enclosure types. Its internal dimensions and mounting points match those of conventional models, while featuring a refined design with smooth contours. The enclosure can be mounted directly on walls or machines, and all screws are concealed under design covers for a clean, modern appearance. In many cases, existing products can be easily upgraded to aluPLUS without modification.

aluKOM – the affordable classic diecast housing
aluKOM represents the original universal enclosure, setting a global standard for aluminium housings. It was originally designed as a terminal enclosure to protect electronic components. Today, it is available with robust external and lid-retaining hinges, as well as a variety of optional accessories. Its simple design allows easy wall or machine mounting, and it is fully compatible with other commonly used enclosure types, making replacement or upgrades straightforward.

aluNORM – versatile enclosure in multiple versions and sizes
The universal aluNORM aluminium enclosure features a space-saving, patented single-channel technology developed by ROLEC. This design provides maximum internal space, making aluNORM highly versatile. Available in four different versions, it can be used across a wide range of industrial applications. The polyTOP polyester enclosures are compatible with aluNORM, allowing users to select their preferred material without changing the installation layout.

conFORM / conTROL – RFI/EMI shielded enclosures
Some electronics applications demand enhanced protection against radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). The conFORM and conTROL enclosures are exceptionally robust and feature a patented, integrated EMC shielding system—included as standard at no additional cost. No delicate shielding gaskets are required. These models are ideal for sensitive electronic components that require reliable EMC protection.

aluTWIN – dual-chamber enclosure
Sometimes electronic components cannot be housed within a single enclosure. With aluTWIN, ROLEC provides a solution featuring two separate chambers—one for the electronics and one for the terminal area. This separation ensures additional protection for the electronics during wiring and installation.
